Farringdon Road Shops, Cullercoats, UK
This is a row of shops near my house that I created. These buildings were my first models accepted. These shops consist of housing on the top and shops on the bottom. The shops include a weight loss facility, hairdressers, sandwich shop, chemist, cake shop, pet grooming, window and door sales, and a funeral service.
There are some problems on this model such as the roof of the main building is not very detailed and needs correcting. Some of the sizes are slightly out of sync and there are no chimneys. This is all soon to be corrected however.
Beacon House Flats, Whitley Bay, UK
These flats are about 2 miles away from my home, but very visible along the coast. There are some sizing issues involved, but easily fixed. Ignore the green clouds in the background of the sketchup model as they are weather features in Google Earth. This was also one of my first models.
Partially Finished Bolam Grove/Ave, North Shields, UK
These houses are about a mile away from my home. It is 2 streets with a few houses in each I yet to complete. Each house is a discrete structure I built seperatley. Hopefully my early next year I should have most of the estate built with full neighbourhood componments and full housing with gardens.
The only problems with this product is that on street view, the shadows of the buildings on the images once placed into google earth makes the buildings seem they are built with multiple different colour shades of bricks, when they aren't.
